    Genius

These super fantastic soap-wares are available over at The Minimalist (more on them another day, quick snap shot: amazing homewares online store). In line with their eco ideals all the ingredients in the soaps are natural and certified organic. Their message is also pretty clear. What else is there to say really? It's simple. It's genius. I love it.

Kate Tucker and Tai Snaith Collaboration - colour me happy

Helen Gory Gallery in Melbourne showed this exhibition back in December last year. I've only just found this art but I thought it was incredibly beautiful and worth sharing in any case. Kate Tucker and Tai Snaith Collaboration is a body of eight works, each created by both artists. The first stage was completed by one artist using a collection of found and deliberately sourced materials  in a collage like style. The second stage of the artwork would be completed by the other and focussed on working with watercolour, gouache, acrylic or pencil. The result is somehow so soft and welcoming. I love the abstract shapes and colours and I love the finer details of pencil and watercolours. Below are a few images from their exhibition. Enjoy x

    moonish - magnetic tiles.

Meet Moonish. They hand make decorative wood tiles in Brooklyn. They dye and silk screen shapes onto marine grain plywood, combining traditional tiles with the warmth of wood. We think they're awesome. They can be used for a temporary installation as they have magnetic backing, or you can leave them where you like for as long as you like for a more permanent set up. They look amazing. Like I said, we think they're awesome. moonish

    Fancy a sleep in?

The cooler months are making it a little harder to get out of bed everyday, and it's making me want to transform my bedroom to be a little more winter cozy than summer fresh. Even better for those lazy weekend mornings. Changing up your bedroom is as easy as adding in some winter texture, like thick knit blankets, lovely fleeces and maybe even some faux fur… I'm also loving a neutral colour palette with greys, whites and blacks. So beautiful.
